word of the day = inter alia

you know you're working on too many legal/technical docs when you start coming across too much of this kind of language. plain english would make my 9-to-5 (or rather, 8-to-who-knows?!) so much easier!

A term used in formal extract minutes to indicate that the minute quoted has been taken from a fuller record of other matters, or when alluding to the parent group after quoting a particular example.
